Meet Anabelle Dao, our 2026 Summer Company participant! Anabelle created BeYOUty Box, a beauty and self-care subscription box designed with young people in mind. Each box features a curated selection of beauty, skincare, hair and self-care products, with a focus on making self-care fun and accessible while encouraging confidence, healthy habits and individuality. “The Summer Company program has been very valuable because it has given me the opportunity to take an idea and work through the steps of turning it into a real business. The program has encouraged me to be more intentional about areas such as budgeting, sourcing, pricing, marketing, customer feedback, record keeping and planning for growth.” — Anabelle Dao The Summer Company program, delivered in partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, provides students entrepreneurial training, mentorship and grants of up to $3,000. Meet Dima Altuamah, our 2026 Summer Company participant! Inspired by a passion for creativity and design, Dima launched Dima Print, a custom direct-to-film T-shirt printing business. Dima Print creates personalized apparel featuring custom designs, images and names for individuals, businesses, schools, churches and other organizations, with a focus on creating memorable products for every customer. “My experience in the Summer Company was very meaningful. I got to learn a lot about what it takes to be a real entrepreneur. I learned how to do marketing the right way, never give up on my goals, how to overcome challenges and learn from mistakes and losses.
