Allow us to introduce you to the new Small Business & Entrepreneurship Centre (SBEC). We have a new name and branding, but our mission remains the same — offering advisory services, easy access to resources and information, seminars and workshops and a network of mentors. We know this to be the key to success, and success starts here.
In addition to our new name, a new website has launched to help entrepreneurs and existing small business clients start and grow their businesses in the Windsor-Essex region. This remains at the forefront of what we offer, but now the website is ready to assist with new and improved resources. With the evolving business landscape, SBEC offers comprehensive resources on topics like business law, cybersecurity, wealth management and succession planning. These topics are among the many subjects entrepreneurs are seeking information on, and we are happy to provide these added resources.
The website also features a robust events calendar, which now includes SBEC and Invest WindsorEssex events along with other training and professional development events hosted by community partners. You will find easy access to webinars from partners such as Digital Main Street, EPICentre, The Accelerator, WEtech Alliance, Genesis Entrepreneurship Centre, and Small Business Centres Ontario, of which SBEC is a member organization.
