The Small Business & Entrepreneurship Centre is extending service locations

MEDIA RELEASE

The Small Business & Entrepreneurship Centre (SBEC) will be extending its service locations to further support businesses across Essex County.

The SBEC provides entrepreneurs with a full range of support services needed to start and successfully grow their business. Services include complimentary business information, advice and consultation, business plan support, research assistance, business development workshops, mentoring and networking opportunities and information on government supports and programming.

In addition to dedicated office hours in Downtown Windsor (119 Chatham St. W, Unit 100) and Essex (39 Maidstone Ave., Unit 5) SBEC will now also offer office hours in Leamington (111 Erie St. N) and Sandwich Towne (Windsor Public Library John Muir Branch – 363 Mill St.).

The additional locations were selected to ensure maximum reach to all municipalities across Essex County and take into consideration the distance analysis for each office, population data as well as allocated program funding for specific BIAs.

The SBEC offers onsite office hours across Essex County as follows:

  • Downtown Windsor (Main Office): Monday to Friday – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Essex County (Satellite Office): Thursdays – 1 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Leamington: Thursdays – 8:30 a.m. to 12 pm.
  • Sandwich Towne: First Tuesday of every month – 1 to 4 p.m.

Please note that in addition to these dedicated office hours, virtual consultations are available to all Essex County businesses Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
